In the morning, Lillian told her that once in the night the shift changes, the people or the monsters who worked there would go out and the next shift of monsters would come in. That’s when they planned to go in and see what exactly was going on inside. They went back to the abandoned house and waited for night fall. At dusk, they dressed up again and went to that hiding place again. When the next shift of monsters was going in they joined them and went inside without being noticed. The place was humongous. The building had two parts, one in the front and other at the back. If someone from the outside were to see, he would think it’s one only but actually there were two. They decided to sneak out of the line and go and see the back side of the building. “They will see us, what are you doing?” said Amy “No one see us, trust me, we have to do this for our parents, we might see them here” said Lillian. When they saw what was going on they were shocked and astounded. They were converting humans to real monsters; like a mummy, skeleton, dead man rising, a witch, bloody nurse, a pirate, a devil and many more. “How are they doing this and why are they doing it?” asked Lillian. They saw that the humans were given some kind of an injection to make them quieter and not realise what was happening to them; so that they wouldn’t disrupt anything. “There are mom and dad” said Amy pointing to a couple at the end of the line. “We have to put an end to this” said Lillian as they walked out of that building and made their way towards the other one. They saw that the people who had been turned to monsters were made to work and build weapons to kill and create a chaos all around. “So that’s the plan, they want to create an army and build weapons to fight and kill one another and basically not let anyone live in peace. Create an atmosphere of fear and anger and let them fight to death.” explained Lillian “Who is their master, the mastermind behind all of this?” asked Amy “Don’t know but we will find out after this” said Lillian as she pulled a huge switch which said ‘shut down’. Everything shut down the next minute and the guards were after them, they didn’t run and stood there until they were captured and taken to the master. He was a gigantic and an ugly looking man who was sad and angry and threw them both in a cage. “Now we will never go home and mom and dad will be turned to monsters forever” said Amy crying. “Don’t worry we will be alright. This was a plan to see who was behind all of this” said Lillian. They tried talking to the giant but he would just yell at them and make them keep quiet. They tried again softly and got him to trust them a little. He told them that his parents had abandoned him when he was little because he was ugly and a big baby since birth, but what no one knew was that he was very intelligent. He was hurt and humiliated and that’s why he created this world of monsters. Lillian and Amy quietly got out of the cage with the help of a hair pin and sneaked out without being noticed. They looked around the giant’s room and found a picture of him with his parents. They looked around a little more and found his parents locked in another cage weak and sad. They took them out and told them to talk to him. “No, we can’t, he won’t listen to us. We have tried so many times” said the giant’s mother “He will this time, come with us” said Lillian. They took them to the giant and confronted him. He got really angry at first but Amy got him to cool down a bit and pay attention to what his parents had to say. “Son, we never meant to hurt you, we left you in that hostel because we wanted you to get the best of the studies you could get and which you were not able to get living with us. We never wanted you to run away and get hurt so badly” said his father. “They were so mean to me and made fun of me every day, every minute and every second. I missed you so much and you never came for me. You never called or tried to contact me, it was like I never existed for you anymore” said the giant crying. “We wrote letters to you and tried calling you but you were never available. The school authorities said that you were having such a nice time that you didn’t want to come home or talk to us” said his mother “That’s a big lie. I was miserable there. I was hurt and angry and pulled down every day” he said “We are sorry we didn’t try harder to contact you. The headmaster has to be punished for this. He must have been involved in all of this” said his mother “Come and give us a hug, we love you son and we miss you so much. Come home with us. There is nothing here for you. You deserve a much better and a happy life” said his mother holding out her arms. The giant quickly hugged both his parents and cried loudly. Amy looked at Lillian and gave her a smile. “How are we going home?” Amy said loudly. “I will personally take you home. I owe you girls an apology too” said the giant very sweetly. After that every human was sent home and the people who had been turned to monsters were turned back to humans. The very good thing about it was that nobody remembered anything about being a monster and hurting people. Amy, Lillian, their parents and of course the giant and his family returned to the real world safe and sound. Amy and Lillian went on with their lives with a very enriching experience which bought all of them closer to each other than ever before. The giant went on to become a very rich and a famous man. He helped people a lot and this time no one made fun of him. The End
