“Mommy mommy look what I got from the pet shop, a baby crocodile. He’s so cute and tiny. Can he stay in my room? “Are you out of your mind, Derek? You bought her a crocodile!!” “Well, she insisted,” Derek said meekly to his wife, Laura. “Mommy he’s running after me, ahhhhhhh, help me!!!” “He’s not running after you, honey, he’s attracted to the magnet attached to your dress. “ “Quick! Take it off before he bites me.” Mandy said eagerly to her mother. Laura took off the magnet belt from Mandy’s dress and threw it into the backyard. The crocodile ran towards the belt & gulped it down. Mandy clapped her hands happily seeing the crocodiles’ enthusiasm in gulping his food down. He suddenly started hiccupping and started coming towards the house again because he didn’t know what to do and stop the hiccups. All of them started panicking and searched hurriedly for something to offer to their new pet. They tried giving him water but it didn’t work, rather the hiccups became worse. Mandy was enjoying each & every bit of it, unable to understand the seriousness of the situation; she was getting so much attention. Then, Derek threw a stainless steel spoon towards the crocodile and the spoon was attracted towards him. Wherever he moved the spoon moved. He did not like it one bit and angrily started coming towards them and in a panic Laura threw her recipe notebook towards him and he happily ate it, but he was still coming towards them. She searched for something behind her back and happened to find the lettuce, she threw 3 leaves at him, he again ate them but this time he liked it and wanted more. So, Laura threw the whole bunch at him and he was finally satisfied with his ‘vegan meal’. Everybody laughed.
