Jason pushed himself up on one elbow, groaned, and fell back to the floor. He tried to get his bearings but couldn't think past the pounding in his head. He waited–maybe 15 seconds or so—and tried again. The room didn't spin quite as much this time, so he looked around.. Where am I? What happened to me? Jason thought. He couldn't remember anything. The last thing he remembered was talking to a girl and after that everything was blank. Had she drugged him and taken him hostage? What did she want with him Why was all this happening to him? Was she following him and distracted him to take him hostage? But why? All these myriad questions were going on in his mind and he couldn't make sense of anything. Jason had to clear his mind and think calmly. He looked around the room and saw a bed with a steel body, a chair and a table. The walls were white in color and there was a pungent smell in the room. He also saw an air vent beside the bed. He heard a voice telling him to take his food from the rectangle slot in the door. He quickly took the tray and gobbled it down. He was so hungry as if he hadn't eaten for many days. The food was palatable but there was very little quantity of it. Or so he thought, he wanted more. He banged on the door to ask for more food but the guard said this was all he would get. So he had to be satisfied with whatever food he was getting. He had to get his strength up if he wanted to get away from here. There was no window in the room, so there was no way of knowing whether its day or night or what day is it, even more difficult to get out of the room. But there had to be some way, to find out what was going on and to be free. This was a strange mystery with no one to give the answers. But someone had the answers, but who?
